See, I told you procrastination was a good thing…Wait, I MEANT to tell you but I didn’t get around to it, sorry.
Type P vs Type A
It’s true, for all the angst and wringing of hands over procrastination it’s really important to discern when you are being a ‘procrastinating’ person and when you are being a ‘hundred mile an hour control freak type A Energizer bunny who is going to have a heart attack if you don’t slow down a bit’ person.
Seeing and Knowing
How do you know the difference? When you are the latter type you get injured. You get burnt out, you hurt yourself and others, you hate your life, you don’t see the big picture, you don’t see the small picture. You barely see anything at all. If you are the former type, a true procrastinator, then you see the world passing by and you are too afraid, too lazy, too paralyzed, to oblivious to your true self to take a step.
Be it Resolved
Be honest and look at yourself, you do know which one you are. Your world will not collapse if you admit it to yourself or others. All the others already know the truth anyway, you really just have to admit it to yourself.

Pinterest has changed everything about attribution. What was considered sufficient at the beginning of this year radically changed when all the lawyers jumped on the Pinterest TOS in . In reality, Pinterest is just an example of how this had already been occurring on Tumblr and elsewhere on the Internet where attribution and images become separated – particularly when pinners pin from a Google Images search page.
Thanks for the response Linda. I have always felt that the attribution on the blog is sufficient but you bring up a good point. I will consider changing that around. I will probably be still sitting at my desk working on my presentation so I might be able to catch the blogchat as well. See you in NYC!
I look forward to meeting you at BlogWorld Expo NYC June 5 – 7 Marty. I’m also presenting – on How Big Brands Are Using Pinterest To Drive Business (in the Social Media Business Summit track.) Being deep into Pinterest I am sensitive to attribution. As an image creator, I’m sure you are too and I applaud that you have added your © to your image.
Since the quote is from Ellen DeGeneres, should she also get an attribution somewhere on the image? Images live separately from blog copy. They get pinned, they get posted on Tumblr and I see you invite both. You might Instagram it separately. What do you think?
I see on the #BWENY stream that we are both huggers. Yay for huggers. Hugging at BlogWorld is one of the many benefits of that conference. We are also both visiting NYC from out of town. In spite of that, I do intend to hop onto #BlogChat at 9PM ET tonight. Hate to ever miss that Twitter chat.
