My ideal is to follow the leading of God in all I do. He has my attention because we have both been very ill. I was in bed for four months with one infection after another and the my husband became quite ill, with a fever over 105. He was rushed to the hospital and a “Code Blue” was called. He survived with a fever of 107, StrepA in the blood, he was septic and dehydrated and his blood sugar was high, he had pneumonia and later it was determined he had Toxic Shock from some scratches on his leg that the infection invaded. The doctor said anyone else in that condition would not have survived. I told him that I had asked people from all over the world to pray for him. The doctor asked if I believed in prayer. I said I did and did he have a better answer to why Keith survived. He didn’t. The next day the doctor asked me how I knew “People all over the world” were praying for him. I wold him I belonged to several music chats, as well as Writer’s Village University, which all had members through out the world, with whom I was in touch. Also, the church had special prayer meetings for him when he was a “Code Blue.” God saved him, as he was taking care of me. I had been ill since September with complications of COPD. I became better to be able to care for him. Now, because of all the infections I had, I have huge nodules on my arms and legs called: erythema nodosum. God has our attention. Now He can lead us in what He wants for our lives. God has a plan for everyone. “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord” from Proverbs. I want everything I do to glorify God and not myself. That is my ideal.
