It’s a well known fact that mermaids are NOT modest. However, there is one area of the seven seas where they are modest and I just happen to find a mermaid in that area this morning. Do you know where the modest mermaids live?

They are covered with their tail.
I asked my 9 yr old and she said,” Because they don’t know better.” And, “Noone is down there to see them and when they come on shore they cover with their hair.”
Sounds like as good an explanation as any I could come up with!
That’s a myth. Real mermaids are quite immodest, happy and free actually. So sayeth me.
I also happen to know that they don’t wear bras (cocoanut or shell versions) because underwater they don’t need to protect against gravity (since their breasts float upward) and they have a toxin that emits from their skin around their breasts that sting anyone or anything (octopus tentacles are constant violators) who try to touch them without permission.
Aren’t you glad you know all this now?
